Perfect Eyebrows: Know The Position

Updated: Mar 14, 2020

“Oh, you have such perfect brows!” Many of us have heard this growing up as a kid. Full and bushy, a virgin to the tweezer and waxing. But, of course we grew up and aloud society to tell us what perfect eyebrows are, for the trend. And, we fall for it. We run to the closet drug store to find the pointiest tweezer, the best brand of wax, not to mention the best eyebrow gels and powders money can buy. It’s all a trend! We turn into someone else just to fit in. Is that wrong? Of course not, but getting an understanding what fits best for your face is key.

So, what are the perfect brows? Perfect for you isn’t perfect for someone else. We all have different brow bone structures, some more prominent or subtle than others. Obtaining the perfect brow, whether you’re getting them micro-bladed, threaded, drawn in, or even purchasing a pair of lace eyebrows, requires you to know your face shape like mentioned in my other article about knowing what brow shape fits your face shape.

Finding the exact placement of your brows is key. Measure your exact brow placement! This step will assist in obtaining perfect eyebrows. You can use your eyebrow pencil to assist.

A. Measure from the tip of your nose vertical to your eyebrow bone. This is the front tip of your eyebrows

B. While still vertical, slant your pencil to get where the arch should be placed

C. Then, slant your pencil again to get the end tip of your brows

D. Where your front tip and back tip evenly meets

Those steps can be a little difficult when applying powder or even when drawing them on. Luckily, there are other solutions out there that make it easier to apply. Lace eyebrows already have the tip, arch and back tip in place. All you have to do is make sure you're lining up everything correctly and apply. That simple.
