So this has become something that is very taboo. Lots of African American women are giving hate to Caucasian women who rock these ethnic hairstyles. We think it's dope, we're all trying to be like one another, but yet we have people saying that they're making a mockery of us... But are they really doing that? Maybe they love the look of our roots and want to have that unique look as well. Or maybe they're tired of their boring straight locs and want a little funk added to their lives. I can't be mad at them I mean, I love switching out my thick, beautiful kinky roots for a straight full lace wig or even a curly full lace wig. Hair doesn't define us; we use it to be whoever we feel like being for that moment. Instead of knocking each other let's celebrate each other. Us African Americans do it all the time, so why bash someone else (another race) for doing what we do. We can't be Hippocrates.
Black women's culture:
Here's a list of things across the web I came across that says what some African American women do to be "not" black, as some harsh critics would put it.
1. Bleach their skin
2. Wear weaves
3. Wear straight hair
4. Get "crack" relaxers
White women's culture:
Here's a list of things across the web I came across that says what some Caucasian women do to "act" black, as some harsh critics would put it.
1. Wear big hoop earrings
2. Wear certain signature hairstyles
3. Date black men
4. Get booty/hip injections
5. Wear dark lip liner with a lighter color lipstick
6. Eat Popeye's Chicken (hilarious I know)
The point I'm making in all this is that everyone is going to have their own opinion about our actions rather it's good or bad. And I say who cares just do you!

If Rachel Dolezal wants to become "black" then let her do it. Maybe cops will stop getting trigger happy cause they feel they might kill one of theirs or maybe not. I'm just saying!
Signing out!
Peace&Love!
